Hi I am carolyn from the up of michigan. i am 55 years old and have 5 grandchildren and 2 daughters , and a husband that is my best friend, we have are disagrements quite often but always make up later,

i came from a large family of 6 and 6 step siblings after my mom past away at age 45 when i was 10 years old.
I spent a lot of time at my grandparents homes thats where i learned to cook. i remember my grandmother making bread and she would fry the bread in veg shortning and put butter on them and sometimes. homeade jam as a matter of fact she tought me to make jams as well. I would alwys help here with dinner and dishes as well. my other grandma tought me how to make pie s and cakes to. now both of them have past and i thank them to this day for there teaching me what i know.
I dont know how well my blog will be t first but i am going to ry it so please bare with me as i try this.
I would like to thank all of my bakespace friends for there help and support and the encouragement to do this and of coure you babs for haveing such a wonderful sight for us to come to. thanks from the bottom of my heart
